Not only does The Creamery have a mind for sustainability, but the ice cream industry is very dependent on reliable sources of energy to manufacture and store their cold substances. Ecolution was thus employed to perform an in-depth energy consumption assessment of the Creamery’s main factory and two of their outlets in order to ensure that all their energy systems were as efficient as possible. Ecolution also advised on how to ensure that power outages wouldn’t have serious impacts on their production and storage process. The recommendations made by Ecolution were also packaged in such a way that the Creamery could use the best practice thinking on energy-efficiency going forward on any expansions or subsequent outlets that are deployed.
